Environmental art installations interact with the nature of the Dolomites, declared a Natural World Heritage Site by Unesco. RespirArt is the highest art park in the world. It extends in Pampeago, Trentino, along a 3km route, between the altitudes of 2000 and 2200 m., Where the spaces open onto incredible panoramas and the emotions breathe.
The creative gesture of “letting go” of works of art in nature invites you to rely on changes and, therefore, on life itself which is continuous transformation. Atmospheric agents do not ruin the works, quite the contrary, they complete them, shaping them and changing their colors. RespirArt invites you to relax in the ever-changing nature of nature.
Every summer, new artistic installations appear, including concerts, guided tours, workshops and meetings. Some works are also visible in winter along the “Agnello” slope of the Ski Center Latemar.
/ From 2020, among the works of land art, artistic benches arise and “Art Pic-Nic” flourish.
/ From 2021 the Agnello chairlift transformes into a “seminovia” thanks to the gesture of the visitors.
/ From 2022, with RespirArt Sounds, it becomes the first sound art park in the world.
RespirArt is one of the highest art parks in the world. It winds between 2,000 and 2,200 altitudes in Pampeago, in Val di Fiemme, in the Trentino Dolomites.
Born from a project by the journalist and art curator Beatrice Calamari and the artist Marco Nones (Expo 2015 Triulza Foundation and Art in Cascina award), it accompanies the discovery of artistic installations along a three-kilometer circular route. The works, created by internationally renowned artists, interact with the Dolomite peaks of the Latemar, declared a Natural World Heritage Site by Unesco.
The RespirArt map, with the exact location of the art installations, is distributed by the information offices, in the accommodation facilities, at the Pampeago ticket office and in the shelters along the route.
